Main characteristics :
- Shape: cylindrical
- Samarium and Cobalt core
- Working temperature limits: 200°C
- Resistant to corrosion, rust and demagnetisation
- High energy density
- Various applications: permanent or temporary positioning and fixing (lamps, measuring devices, protective screens, etc.), door closing, recovery of mild steel parts, sorting, handling.
The load-bearing capacity is higher than that of Alnico suction pads, for a smaller volume and for temperatures limited to 180°C.
Samarium-Cobalt suction cups are sintered rare earth magnets.
The core of the suction cup consists of a strong Samarium Cobalt magnet and two pole pieces which bring the adhesive force to the front side, all inserted in a brass tube to protect it.
The suction cups, which can be partially drilled, tapped or milled, are particularly suitable for the mechanical industry, boiler making, all maintenance workshops, building sites, etc. The drilling and tapping of the rear side of the suction cups can be carried out according to the table below. Do not exceed the maximum drilling depth in order to avoid contact with the magnet and driving it out.
The mechanical resistance is good due to the insertion of the magnets in a brass tube.
