Ferrite pots with screwed hole are ceramic magnets with flat and round faces.
The core of the stud is a Ferrite magnet, housed in a galvanised cover, which has the effect of focusing the entire flux of the magnet onto the active face.
Drilling and tapping should be avoided. The magnet is fixed by screwing.
The mild steel casing provides good mechanical strength. The metal housing prevents the magnet from impact or breaking.
